The Phantoms offense stayed quiet in the second inning, while their
defense kept the Jackrabbits from scoring in the third, especially due
to the strong pitcher-catcher combination of Derby Gill and Sarah Isen. In the bottom of the second, the Phantoms closed the gap with two runs. Mia Rabin led off with an infield double, Derby hit a big RBI single to the outfield, while Naomi Tong
connected knocked in Portia for the other run. The Phantoms defense

defensive play from Muriel Richardson that ended the inning. In the bottom of the 4th, the Phantoms scored three runs.
